Directions
Travelling either from Fort William, or Mallaig, turn into the lane marked Slatach. Drive for 500 metres passing the first hotel entrance then immediately turn left into the hotel back lane for 20 metres then turn right following the red directional arrows past the green shed to Giuthsachan.

We are open from 9am to 10pm all week.
The parking bays are approximately 8 feet wide and are marked bays on a gravelled area. We cannot accommodate camper vans and motor homes, please see the SCIO car park that caters for these vehicles.
- Refund policy if cancelled? At least 24 hours before reservation and there is a 50p charge to cover credit card fees.
- Refund if poor weather? Harry Potter doesn’t do poor weather so 24 hours.
- Is there a toilet? No
- Is there drinking water? Yes.
- Are there litter bins? Yes
- Are dogs allowed? Yes
- Is there disabled parking? Yes –but gravelled path offers some difficulty.
- Is there EV charging? No
- Is there lighting? Yes
- Is there CCTV? No but owners on site.
There are toilets at the Visitor Centre.
- How far is it to the Glenfinnan Viaduct? 500 Mtrs up Slatach Road and then join path to whichever view point people wish.
- How long does it take to walk? Probably 15 mins to the Viaduct.
- Is the route suitable for pushchairs? Yes
- Is it suitable for wheelchairs? Yes, but the car parking area is gravelled.
- Is it a steep walk? Absolutely flat to Viaduct. With hill climb if you wish to get closer.
- Is parking at car owner’s risk? Yes
- Is the site supervised? Yes
- Is CCTV in operation? No
- What happens if a vehicle breaks down? We can accommodate this.
- No BBQs.
- No fires.
- No camping.
- No tables/chairs outside vehicles.
- No loud music.
- Dogs under control. This is required in the Glen.
- Please take litter home but can accommodate if required.
